A fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist who focuses on treating multiple orthopaedic injuries.  His areas of expertise focuses on injuries involving the hip, knee, and shoulder but he treats other areas as well.

He completed his fellowship training in sports medicine at The Rothman Institute at Thomas University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and he joined the Orthopaedic Institute in 2014.  Dr. Mendelsohn brings fellowship training to a premier healthcare institution.  He is experienced in treating virtually all sports-related injuries, having served as a fellow for the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles and Flyers as well as a team physician for several athletic teams at the college and high school level.  He also has experience in management of traumatic injuries, fractures and joint replacement.
